I have always been fascinated by the sports world.  Sports give us the chance to take a break from real life.  Sports give us a chance to develop and display our hometown pride.  Sports give us the chance to create lasting memories.  Living most of my life in the Boston area, I am lucky enough to be surrounded by the best teams in professional sports for the past decade—the Red Sox, the Patriots, the Celtics, and the Bruins.  Luckily, I have been able to see all four of these teams, some of them more than once, become champions.  Personally, I have never been deeply involved in blogging, but after dominating the trenches of the NEC conference in Massachusetts high school football, I decided to take my love of sports and my occasionally interesting opinion to the blogosphere.  Swim at your own risk.

Isaac “Chipp” Chipps

What’s good peoples? Born and raised in the great state of Ohio, I come to you ready to deliver the best blog the sports world has to offer. When the sad day came where I realized I was destined for stardom as a bench warmer, I decided to take my talents to the pen and paper, and begin my career as a sports writer. I had grown up reading the Julius Caesar’s of sports journalism, trying to manipulate the best of the best. I had known what I wanted to do with my life, but with the fast changing world of journalism, I soon realized that my path to greatness would not be of one told in the movies. Thus began my career in the blog field. I have been blogging for several years now, and I can honestly say what separates this blog from all the rest, is our dedication to the content we put on our site. My partner in crime, Mike Bagarella, and I, have come together to produce a blog that all people can come to for thoughtful insight into the sports world we love and cherish so much. This blog is kind of like Nas’s album Illmatic; we’re trying to change the way people perceive the term “sports blog.” We are trying to change the state of mind of readers from across the globe. Through various posts, and contributing writers, we will give you a different perception of what you see in the sports world today. Bag of Chipps is attempting to set the standard for the new age of sport’s journalism. So do yourself a favor, sit back, relax, and munch on a good ole Bag of Chipps.
